Beauty parade does not debar solicitor from acting where no confidential material disclosed (High Court)

In S v S (Application to Prevent Solicitor Acting) [2017] EWHC 2660 (Fam), the High Court held that absent disclosure of confidential material or privileged information or advice arising, a solicitor was not prevented from acting for the wife in family proceedings, where they had met with the husband’s agent during the course of a beauty parade, prior to being instructed by the wife.
